The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made a telephone call on Saturday to President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Mohamed El Ghazouani of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, congratulating him on winning presidential elections in his country.
King Salman expressed his best wishes of success to the president, and progress and prosperity for the people of Mauritania, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

For his part, the President expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Salman for congratulating him,.

He also assured his keenness on developing the distinguished relations between the Saudi Arabia and Mauritania in all fields.
