A leaked email from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in September 2012 revealed Qatar’s collaboration with the Muslim Brotherhood in creating a media channel with an investment of $ 100 million.
According to the email, this project came after the Brotherhood complained about the weakness of their media institutions compared to other media institutions.
Additionally, the leaked document revealed that the group stipulated that Qatar should be led by the Brotherhood’s leader, Khairat Al-Shater, to manage the channel and be a direct line manager of the institution, the Doha with an initial capital of 100 million US dollars will finance.
However, the email did not talk about the fate of the project, its final details and its consequences.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, US President Donald Trump directed rare criticism of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for not being able to publish the emails of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which contained her private e- Mail as Foreign Minister, which is illegal and has constitutional ramifications.
On Friday, Pompeo promised to release the Democratic Secretary’s controversial emails – messages that the presidential camp said should prove Clinton should be brought to justice.
Criticism of Trump
On Thursday, Trump rarely criticized two of his closest associates, Pompeo and Attorney General Bill Barr, the attorney general, less than a month before the presidential election.
In a phone interview with Fox Business, the Republican president, forced to suspend his campaign due to his COVID-19 infection, urged the two ministers to take action regarding the administration of his predecessor Barack Obama.
He also said Pompeo should find a way to circulate emails from Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential election, calling for Republican activists criticizing her use of a private servant when she was secretary of state.
It is reported that Pompeo became famous for his sharp tone when questioning Clinton when he was a member of Congress years ago investigating the bloody attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
